Biography

Alex Scott was an Australian-British actor. Born in Ballarat, Victoria, he trained at the University of Melbourne and was a founding member of the Melbourne Theatre Company. He moved to Britain in the 1950s and appeared in numerous television productions of the 1960s, including episodes of The Avengers, Danger Man, The Saint and Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased).

His film roles included Darling (1965), Fahrenheit 451 (1966), The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971), Twins of Evil (1971) and The Asphyx (1972). After returning to Australia in 1981 he appeared in Next of Kin (1982), Sky Pirates (1986) and as Martin in Romper Stomper (1992). He died in Toorak, Melbourne, in 2015.
