Biography
Alicia Silverstone is an American actress. Born on 4 October 1976 in San Francisco, California, she began her career in television commercials as a child and made her film debut in the thriller The Crush (1993).
She gained prominence with her role as Cher Horowitz in the comedy Clueless (1995) and as Batgirl in Batman & Robin (1997). Silverstone has appeared in films including Tropic Thunder (2008), The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017) and Bugonia (2025), in which she plays Sandy. She received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the television series Miss Match (2003).
Silverstone is a vegan and has endorsed PETA. She has published the cookbooks The Kind Diet (2009) and The Kind Mama (2014).
