Biography
Ed Guiney is an Irish film and television producer. He is co-founder and co-CEO of Element Pictures, the production company he established in 2001 with Andrew Lowe.
His credits include Room (2015), The Lobster (2015), The Favourite (2018), The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017), Poor Things (2023), Kinds of Kindness (2024) and Bugonia (2025). He has also served as executive producer on the series Normal People (2020).
Guiney has received a British Academy Film Award and further BAFTA nominations for Best Film and Outstanding British Film. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Picture.
