Biography
Andrew Lowe is an Irish film and television producer. In 2001 he co-founded the production company Element Pictures with Ed Guiney. The company, with offices in Dublin, Belfast and London, works across production, distribution and exhibition.
Lowe has produced or executive produced films including The Guard (2011), Frank (2014), The Lobster (2015), The Favourite (2018), Poor Things (2023), Kinds of Kindness (2024) and Bugonia (2025). He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture for Poor Things.
Before founding Element Pictures, Lowe worked as head of business affairs at the Irish Film Board and as a freelance production accountant. He is a board member of Screen Producers Ireland and vice-chair of the IBEC Audiovisual Federation.
