Biography
Allison Silverman is an American comedy writer and producer. Born on 17 February 1972 in Gainesville, Florida, she graduated from Yale University in 1994.
She began her career writing for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. She served as head writer and executive producer on The Colbert Report until 2009. Silverman has written for Portlandia (2011), The Office (2011–2013), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–2017), Russian Doll (2019–2022) and Schmigadoon! (2021). She has received Emmy Awards and nominations for her television work.
