Biography
Álvaro Augustín is a Spanish film producer. He has worked extensively with Telecinco Cinema, a division of Mediaset España, where he served as general manager for many years.
His credits include Pan's Labyrinth (2006), The Orphanage (2007), Agora (2009), Cell 211 (2009), The Impossible (2012), A Monster Calls (2016) and Marrowbone (2017). He began his career in the late 1980s in film and television distribution and programming before founding the Gabinete de Estudios de la Comunicación Audiovisual (GECA) in 1993.
