Biography
Amy Landecker is an American actress. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on 30 September 1969, she trained in theatre at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and began her career in Chicago productions with the Steppenwolf and Goodman theaters before moving to New York and Los Angeles.
She is known for her role as Sarah Pfefferman in the series Transparent (2014–2019) and for film appearances including Mrs Samsky in A Serious Man (2009), Dr Bruner in Doctor Strange (2016), and Heather in Missing (2023). Landecker has also appeared in series such as Your Honor (2020–2023) and The Handmaid's Tale (2017–2022). She is married to actor Bradley Whitford.
