Biography
Amy Robinson is an American film producer and former actress. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, on 13 April 1948, she began her career as an actress with the female lead in Martin Scorsese's Mean Streets (1973). She later moved into producing after finding acting roles limited.
Robinson co-founded Double Play Productions with Griffin Dunne. She produced Scorsese's After Hours (1985), as well as Chilly Scenes of Winter (1979), Baby It's You (1983), Running on Empty (1988), White Palace (1990) and From Hell (2001). She served on the dramatic jury at the Sundance Film Festival in 1987.
