Biography
Anamaria Vartolomei is a French-Romanian actress. Born on 9 April 1999 in Bacău, Romania, she moved to France at the age of six and trained in acting at the Cours Florent and Les Enfants Terribles. She began her career as a child actress in My Little Princess (2011).
Vartolomei won the Lumière Award for Best Actress and the César Award for Most Promising Actress for her performance in Happening (2021). Her other notable film roles include Jacky in the Kingdom of Women (2014), How to Be a Good Wife (2020), The Royal Exchange (2017), The Count of Monte Cristo (2024) as Haydée, and Mickey 17 (2025) as Kai Katz, her English-language debut.
