Biography
Andrea Calderwood is a British film and television producer. She studied film and media at the University of Stirling and was appointed head of drama at BBC Scotland at the age of 28. In 2000 she founded the production company Slate Films.
She produced the HBO miniseries Generation Kill (2008) and the feature film The Last King of Scotland (2006), for which she received a BAFTA Award for Best British Film. Other credits include The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (2019), A Most Wanted Man (2014), A Little Chaos (2015), The Little Stranger (2018) and Ratcatcher (1999).
