Biography
Angela Amato Velez is an American television writer and producer. She previously worked as a police officer and legal aid attorney, and has written novels.
She began writing for television on the NBC series Third Watch (2003–2005), for which she received story consultant and writing credits. She later served as consulting producer and writer on the first season of Southland (2009), and as consulting producer and writer on the first season of The Good Wife (2009–2010). She wrote the episode "Conjugal" for the latter. Amato Velez and the writing staff of The Good Wife received a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for best new series in 2010.
