Biography
Angela Sarafyan, also credited as Angela Sarafian, is an Armenian-American actress. She was born on 30 June 1983 in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, Soviet Union (now Armenia), and moved with her family to Los Angeles at the age of four. Her father, Grigor Sarafyan, is an actor and her mother is a painter. As a child she studied ballet and piano.
She began her career with guest roles in television series including Judging Amy (2000) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2003). Sarafyan is known for portraying Clementine Pennyfeather in the HBO series Westworld (2016–2022) and for her film roles in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012), Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019) and Reminiscence (2021). In 2025 she appeared as Lara in the film Superman.
