Biography
Anne Fletcher is an American film director and choreographer. Born on 1 May 1966 in Detroit, Michigan, she began taking dance lessons as a child and later trained under choreographer Joe Tremaine in Los Angeles.
She worked as a professional dancer and choreographer on films including The Flintstones (1994), The Mask (1994) and Boogie Nights (1997), often in collaboration with Adam Shankman. Fletcher made her directorial debut with Step Up (2006) and went on to direct 27 Dresses (2008), The Proposal (2009), The Guilt Trip (2012), Hot Pursuit (2015), Dumplin' (2018) and Hocus Pocus 2 (2022). She has also directed episodes of television series including This Is Us.
