Biography
Annie Mebane is a television writer and producer. She began writing for series including Happy Endings (2011) and Community (2011–2013), where she also served as story editor.
Her subsequent credits include episodes of The Michael J. Fox Show (2013), The Goldbergs (2015–2021), Brockmire (2018), Heathers (2018), Atypical (2019), Indebted (2020), Future Man (2020), Shrinking (2023–2024) and Bad Monkey (2024). She created the series The Chicken Sisters (2024–2025), on which she also wrote and served as showrunner. Mebane is an executive producer and writer on the series Rooster (2026). She has received one Primetime Emmy nomination and a Writers Guild of America Award nomination.
