Biography
Anthony Peck (born Carmen Anthony Pecchio) was an American actor. Born on 20 March 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio, he studied at the University of Toledo, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, and received a Master of Fine Arts in acting from Temple University.
Peck appeared in several films directed by John McTiernan. These included Die Hard (1988), in which he played a young cop; The Hunt for Red October (1990), as Lieutenant Commander Philip Thompson; Last Action Hero (1993); and Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995), as NYPD Detective Ricky Walsh. His other film credits include Creator (1985), In the Line of Fire (1993) and Carnosaur 3: Primal Species (1996). He also worked in television, with appearances in series such as Knots Landing, Knight Rider and Quantum Leap.
Peck died of cancer on 30 July 1996 in Beverly Hills, California, aged 49.
