Biography
Anthony Ruivivar is an American actor born on 4 November 1970 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He trained at Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and began his career with small roles in films including Race the Sun (1996) and Starship Troopers (1997).
His breakthrough came with the role of paramedic Carlos Nieto in the NBC series Third Watch (1999–2005). He later appeared in recurring or guest capacities on series such as The Mentalist (2008), Criminal Minds (2005), Castle (2009), Hawaii Five-0 (2010) and The Haunting of Hill House (2018), and in films including Tropic Thunder (2008) and The Adjustment Bureau (2011).
Ruivivar played Alex Longshadow in the Cinemax series Banshee (2013–2015) and voiced Bruce Wayne / Batman in the animated series Beware the Batman (2013–2014). He is married to actress Yvonne Jung.
