Biography

Antonio de la Torre is a Spanish actor born on 18 January 1968 in Málaga. He studied journalism and worked as a sports presenter on Canal Sur Radio and Television before training at the Cristina Rota acting school in Madrid.

He is known for roles in films such as Volver (2006), Dark Blue Almost Black (2006), Marshland (2014), The Realm (2018) and The Night Manager (2016). De la Torre holds the record for the most Goya Award nominations of any actor and has won two: Best Supporting Actor for Dark Blue Almost Black in 2007 and Best Actor for The Realm in 2019. He has collaborated repeatedly with director Daniel Sánchez Arévalo.
