Biography
Anu Schwartz is a New York City-based production designer and art director working in film and television. He served as production designer on the series Your Friends & Neighbors (2025–2026) and The Politician (2019–2020), and on Dear Edward (2023).
Earlier credits include supervising art director on Fosse/Verdon (2019) and Maniac (2018), and art director roles on The Kitchen (2019) and The Reader (2008). He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program for his work on Fosse/Verdon.
Schwartz trained in art history, architecture and fine art painting. He chairs the Sustainability Committee at United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829.
