Biography

Armando Bó is an Argentine screenwriter and film director. Born on 9 December 1978 in Buenos Aires, he is the son of actor Víctor Bó and grandson of film director Armando Bó.

He co-wrote the screenplay for Biutiful (2010) with Alejandro G. Iñárritu and his cousin Nicolás Giacobone. Bó shared the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) with Iñárritu, Giacobone and Alexander Dinelaris Jr. He has also written and directed The Last Elvis (2012), Animal (2018) and the series El Presidente (2020).
