Biography
Baz Irvine is a cinematographer. Born in Belfast in 1967, he trained in London after winning a place on Lord Puttnam's Jobfit course and worked as a focus puller and camera assistant on films including The Full Monty (1997) and several directed by Ken Loach.
As director of photography he has shot the Oscar-winning short Six Shooter (2004), features such as Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007), and television series including Spooks (2002), Invasion (2021), Silo (2023–2024) and MobLand (2025). He received an ASC nomination in 2025 for his work on Silo season 2.
