Biography
Ben Batt is an English actor. He was born in Wigan and trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, leaving early after being offered a role in the 2008 film The Edge of Love.
He is known for playing Joe Pritchard in the Channel 4 series Shameless (2004–2013). Other credits include DC Kevin Lumb in Scott & Bailey (2011–2013), Alf Rutter in The Village (2013–2014), an Enlistment Office MP in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Cartwright in The English Game (2020), and Agrippa in Domina (2021–2023). He appeared as Pat Miller in the 2025 miniseries Toxic Town.
