Biography
Bill Henderson (1926–2016) was an American actor and jazz singer. Born William Randall Henderson in Chicago, Illinois, he began his professional music career in the 1950s, performing and recording with artists including Ramsey Lewis, Horace Silver and Oscar Peterson, before moving into acting in the mid-1970s.
Henderson appeared in numerous film and television roles, usually in supporting or minor parts. His credits include Clue (1985), City Slickers (1991) as Ben Jessup, White Men Can't Jump (1992), Maverick (1994) and Lethal Weapon 4 (1998). He also appeared in series such as My Name Is Earl and ER.
