Biography

Bill Moor was an American actor. He was born on 13 July 1931 in Toledo, Ohio, and died on 27 November 2007 in Englewood, New Jersey. He graduated from Denison University in 1955 and later studied acting at the Actors Studio under Lee Strasberg and Stella Adler.

Moor had an extensive career in theatre, appearing in numerous Broadway productions including 45 Seconds From Broadway (2001), The Iceman Cometh (1985) and Plenty (1983). His film roles included Gressen in Kramer vs. Kramer (1979), the U.S. Consul in Ishtar (1987) and a Florida judge in The Devil's Advocate (1997). On television he played Defense Attorney Bill Patton in six episodes of Law & Order between 1991 and 2000, and appeared in series such as Kojak.
