Biography
R.J. Colleary, also credited as Bob Colleary, is an American television writer and producer. Born on 26 August 1957 in Montclair, New Jersey, he began writing for series in the late 1970s.
His credits include episodes of MASH (1972), Barney Miller (1975), The Facts of Life (1979), Night Court (1984), The Golden Girls (1985), Saved by the Bell (1989), Touched by an Angel (1994), Step by Step (1991) and The Fairly OddParents (2001). He won the 1980 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for the Barney Miller* episode "The Photographer".
Colleary semi-retired from television writing at the age of 46.
