Biography
Boys Noize, born Alexander Ridha on 22 August 1982 in Hamburg, is a German-Iraqi electronic music producer, songwriter and DJ. He established his label Boysnoize Records in 2005 and has worked under aliases including Nine Inch Noize, Dog Blood (with Skrillex) and Octave Minds (with Chilly Gonzales).
He has composed or contributed music to films including Gran Turismo (2023), where his track 'Revolt' featured, and TRON: Ares (2025), on which he provided additional production for the Nine Inch Nails score. He has also worked on the series Poker Face (2023). Other film credits include Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Snowden (2016), Booksmart (2019) and Scream (2022).
Ridha received a Grammy nomination in 2019 for the track 'Midnight Hour' and co-wrote the Grammy-winning Lady Gaga song 'Rain on Me'. In 2012 Rolling Stone named him one of its top ten 'DJs that rule the Earth'.
