Biography
Brad Copeland is an American television writer, producer and film director. He began his career in television with production staff work on NewsRadio in the late 1990s and writing for Grounded for Life (2001).
Copeland wrote episodes of and served as producer on Arrested Development (2003). He later wrote for My Name Is Earl (2005) and developed the American version of The Inbetweeners for MTV (2012), also working as writer and executive producer on Life in Pieces (2015). He received two Primetime Emmy nominations for his work on Arrested Development.
His feature screenwriting credits include Wild Hogs (2007), Yogi Bear (2010), Ferdinand (2017), Spies in Disguise (2019), Flora & Ulysses (2021) and Jerry & Marge Go Large (2022). He also wrote and directed the 2013 film Coffee Town.
