Biography

Brad William Henke was an American actor and former professional American football player. Born in Columbus, Nebraska, he played college football at the University of Arizona before being drafted by the New York Giants in the 1989 NFL Draft. He played for the Denver Broncos and appeared in Super Bowl XXIV.

After retiring from football in 1994 due to injuries, Henke began acting with commercials and accumulated credits in film and television. His film roles include Andrew in Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005), Miles in Pacific Rim (2013), Sergeant Davis in Fury (2014) and Uncle John in Split (2017). On television he appeared in Dexter (as Tony Tucci), Lost (as Bram) and Justified, and was best known for playing Desi Piscatella in Orange Is the New Black (2016–2018), for which the cast received a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
