Biography
Branka Katić (also credited as Branka Katic) is a Serbian actress. She was born on 20 January 1970 in Belgrade and trained at the Academy of Dramatic Art, where she received instruction from Rade Šerbedžija. She began her career in theatre in Subotica, Novi Sad and Belgrade, and made her film debut at the age of 14.
Katić is known for her roles in the films Black Cat, White Cat (1998), In July (2000), Public Enemies (2009), Breaking and Entering (2006) and The King's Man (2021), and for television appearances in Big Love, Entourage, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and Anne Frank: The Whole Story. She is married to British director Julian Farino and they have two sons.
In 2026 she appeared as Raisa Gorbachev in the film The Brink of War.
