Biography
Brett W. Bachman is a film and television editor. His credits include Companion (2025), Mandy (2018), Pig (2021), Color Out of Space (2019), The Fall of the House of Usher (2023), Heart Eyes (2025), Werewolves Within (2021), The Vigil (2020), Cooties (2014) and V/H/S/94 (2021). Several of his feature films have premiered at festivals including Sundance, TIFF, SXSW and Cannes.
Bachman grew up in Maple Valley, Washington, and attended Western Washington University. He moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to study at the American Film Institute Conservatory, from which he graduated in 2011. He has collaborated extensively with producers associated with SpectreVision and works with directors including Panos Cosmatos, Mike Flanagan and Josh Ruben. He is a member of the American Cinema Editors and IATSE, and is represented by UTA.
