Biography
Brian Eastman is a British producer of feature films, television drama and stage productions. Born in Brighton in 1949, he founded the independent production company Carnival Films. Between 1980 and 2006 he produced over 300 hours of television drama, eight feature films and ten stage productions.
His television credits include the long-running series Agatha Christie's Poirot (1989–2001) and Jeeves and Wooster (1990–1993). Feature films include Shadowlands (1993), co-produced with Richard Attenborough, Under Suspicion (1991) and Firelight (1997). He has received two BAFTA awards and two international Emmy awards, and is a Fellow of the Royal Television Society.
