Biography
Bruce Davey is an Australian film producer. Born in Sydney, he is a long-term business partner of actor and director Mel Gibson. Davey began working with Gibson as his accountant and business manager before they co-founded Icon Productions in 1989.
He has produced numerous films through Icon, including Braveheart (1995), for which he shared an Academy Award for Best Picture, The Passion of the Christ (2004), Apocalypto (2006) and Hacksaw Ridge (2016). Other credits include Maverick (1994), Payback (1999), What Women Want (2000) and We Were Soldiers (2002).
