Biography
Bryan Marshall was a British actor. Born in Battersea, London, on 19 May 1938, he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1963, and began his career in repertory theatre, including at the Bristol Old Vic.
He appeared in numerous British films and television series from the 1960s onwards. His film roles included Perce in Alfie (1966), Captain Potter in Quatermass and the Pit (1967), Commander Talbot in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Councillor Harris in The Long Good Friday (1980). He also had television credits in series such as The Avengers, The Saint and Warship.
In 1983 Marshall moved to Australia, where he continued acting in films including BMX Bandits (1983), The Punisher (1989) and Country Life (1994), and in television series such as Neighbours and Home and Away. He died on 25 June 2019, aged 81.
