Biography
Bryn Imagire is a production designer and visual effects artist at Pixar Animation Studios. She joined the company in 1996 after earning a BFA from ArtCenter College of Design and has worked in shading, art direction and production design roles across multiple films and shorts.
Her early credits include CG painter on A Bug's Life (1998) and Monsters, Inc. (2001), and shading art director on Toy Story 2 (1999), The Incredibles (2004), Up (2009), Coco (2017) and Soul (2020). She served as production designer on Hoppers (2026), Carl's Date (2023) and episodes of Dug Days (2021). Imagire has received Art Directors Guild awards for her work on Coco and Soul, and an Annie Award for Coco.
Born in Sacramento in 1963 to Japanese-American parents, she began her Pixar career on A Bug's Life.
