Biography
Callie Thorne is an American actress. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she studied theatre and dramatic literature at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, and trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City.
She is known for playing Sheila Keefe in the series Rescue Me (2004–2011). Other television roles include Detective Laura Ballard in Homicide: Life on the Street (1997–1999) and its film follow-up, Elena McNulty in The Wire (2002–2008), Pam Mahone in Prison Break (2006–2008), and the lead role of Dr Dani Santino in Necessary Roughness (2011–2013), for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Television Series – Drama and won a Gracie Allen Award. She has also appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Elementary, The Americans and the film Analyze That (2002).
