Biography

Camilla Rutherford is an English actress and former fashion model. Born on 20 September 1976 in Camden, London, she was educated at St George's School, Ascot and Woodbridge School before studying mathematics at Newcastle University, which she left to pursue modelling.

Her early screen roles included short films such as Je t'aime John Wayne and Stardom. She played Isobel McCordle in Robert Altman's Gosford Park (2001) and later appeared in Vanity Fair (2004), The Darjeeling Limited (2007) as Alice, Phantom Thread (2017) as Johanna, and Yesterday (2019) as Hilary. On television she portrayed Jocasta in Rome and Diana Napier in the 2021 miniseries A Very British Scandal.
