Biography
Carl Duering (born Gerhard Fuchs; also credited as Gerald Percy Fox and variants) was a German-born British actor. He was born on 29 May 1923 in Berlin and died on 1 September 2018 in London.
Duering began his screen career in the early 1950s and appeared in numerous British and international films and television productions. He is best known for playing Dr. Brodsky in Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange (1971). Other notable film roles include appearances in The Colditz Story (1955), The Guns of Navarone (1961), Arabesque (1966), The Boys from Brazil (1978) and Possession (1981). He was married to Nancy Manningham and Mary Sydney Burr Campion.
