Biography
Carl Laemmle Jr., also credited as Julius Laemmle, was an American film producer and studio executive. He was the son of Carl Laemmle, who founded Universal Pictures. He served as head of production at the studio from 1928 to 1936.
He produced or supervised numerous films for Universal, including All Quiet on the Western Front (1930), Dracula (1931), Frankenstein (1931), The Mummy (1932), The Invisible Man (1933), The Black Cat (1934) and Bride of Frankenstein (1935).
Laemmle Jr. was born on 28 April 1908 in Chicago, Illinois, and died on 24 September 1979 in Los Angeles, California.
