Biography
Carla Kettner is a television writer and producer. Born in Calgary, Canada, she graduated from the University of Southern California before moving to Australia, where she worked as a journalist and award-winning short story author.
She transitioned into writing and producing Australian television and later returned to Los Angeles. Kettner has written episodes of Bones (2005), serving as writer, teleplay and story credits on the series, and The Blacklist (2013). Other writing credits include Zoo (2015), Drop Dead Diva (2009), Due South (1994) and Judging Amy (1999).
She has held executive producer positions on Bones, The Blacklist, Vanished and The Mob Doctor (2012). Kettner co-created and served as showrunner on Panhandle (2022) and is showrunner on Alert: Missing Persons Unit (2023).
