Biography
Carole Kravetz Aykanian is a film and television editor, also credited as Carole Kravetz. Born and raised in France, she moved to Los Angeles to study filmmaking at the American Film Institute Conservatory, where she met director Carl Franklin.
She edited Franklin’s debut feature One False Move (1992) and went on to collaborate with him on Devil in a Blue Dress (1995) and High Crimes (2002). Other notable feature credits include Ghost World (2001), Out of Time (2003), The Matador (2005), the animated The Little Prince (2015) and Entergalactic (2022). Her television work includes episodes of The Morning Show (2019–).
Before entering film, she worked as a dancer and choreographer; her background in dance has informed her approach to editing rhythm and performance.
