Biography
Carolina Paiz is a television and film writer and producer. She began her screenwriting career with a writing credit on the series Grey's Anatomy in 2006. She has since written for series including The Defenders and Orange Is the New Black, and served in producing roles on Narcos and Orange Is the New Black.
Paiz grew up in Guatemala and studied English and Latin American Studies at Tulane University before moving to Los Angeles. She co-wrote and produced the 2010 Venezuelan feature The Zero Hour (La Hora Cero) with director Diego Velasco, her husband and frequent collaborator. She has developed projects including the thriller The Whistler.
