Biography
Catalina Sandino Moreno (born 19 April 1981) is a Colombian actress. She made her screen debut in the lead role of Maria Full of Grace (2004). For the performance she received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress and shared the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin International Film Festival.
She studied advertising at the Pontifical Xavierian University before training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Subsequent credits include Paris, je t'aime (2006), Che (2008), The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010), A Most Violent Year (2014), Silent Night (2023) and the television series From (2022–present). In 2025 she played Lena in Ballerina.
