Biography
Catherine Rodríguez is a Colombian costume designer. She began working in the costume department on international productions filmed in Colombia and made her first feature credit as costume designer on Mateo (2014).
She designed costumes for Embrace of the Serpent (2015) and Birds of Passage (2018), both directed by Ciro Guerra, receiving a Macondo Award for best costume design for the latter in 2019 as well as Fénix Award nominations. Her subsequent credits include Memoria (2021), Green Frontier (2019) and the Netflix series One Hundred Years of Solitude (2024). She studied film and television at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2021.
