Biography
Charles C. Stevenson Jr. was an American actor. He began acting at the age of 50 after a career in public service, having served in the US Navy during the Korean War and studied English at the University of California, Berkeley.
He appeared in films including Ed Wood (1994), Men in Black (1997) as MIB Agent Bee, Pleasantville (1998) and Ghost World (2001) as Norman. On television he played Smitty in 12 episodes of Will & Grace (2002–2020) and had guest roles in series such as House, The Office, Gilmore Girls and Shameless. He was frequently cast as clergymen.
Stevenson died on 19 January 2026 in Camarillo, California, aged 95.
