Biography
Charlie Corwin is an American media executive and film and television producer, also credited as Charles Corwin. He is CEO of SK Global, an independent content studio. He previously served as CEO of Imagine Entertainment and as Co-Chairman and CEO of Endemol Shine Americas.
Born and raised in New York City, Corwin is a graduate of Horace Mann School, the University of Wisconsin and New York University School of Law. In 2002 he co-founded Original Media, where he produced and executive produced independent films including The Squid and the Whale (2005), Half Nelson (2006), A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006), Twelve (2010) and Sunlight Jr. (2013). His productions have received Oscar, Emmy, Golden Globe and Independent Spirit Award nominations.
Corwin has also created television series such as The Philanthropist (2009) and developed unscripted formats including Miami Ink and its spin-offs.
