Biography
China Moo-Young is a British television director. She attended the National Youth Theatre and graduated with a first-class honours degree in film, theatre and television from the University of Bristol. She began her career making short films, including Juvenile and Liar, before directing her first television drama, Emo, for Channel 4’s Coming Up strand in 2008.
Her television directing credits include episodes of Secret Diary of a Call Girl (2010), Scott & Bailey (2012), Call the Midwife (2013–2014), Humans (2015), Spotless (2015), Thirteen (2016), Harlots (2017), The Rook (2019), Pennyworth (2019), Intergalactic (2021), Everything I Know About Love (2022) and The Road Trip (2024).
