Biography
Chris Marcil is an American television writer and producer. He has frequently collaborated with writing partner Sam Johnson.
Marcil wrote for Frasier (1993), contributing stories and teleplays, and served as co-executive producer and executive producer on the series from 1999 to 2004. His other writing credits include NewsRadio (1995), Beavis and Butt-Head (1993), Daria (1997), How I Met Your Mother (2005) and What We Do in the Shadows (2019). He has also worked as a producer on several of these shows.
Marcil has received three Primetime Emmy nominations.
