Biography
Chris Pedersen is an American actor, musician and race car driver. Born on 22 May 1963 in San Francisco, he grew up in Southern California and had no formal acting training. He was approached by director Penelope Spheeris at a park in Burbank while the band T.S.O.L. was playing, leading to his screen debut as Jack Diddley in the 1983 film Suburbia.
Pedersen appeared in several notable films of the 1980s and early 1990s. He played Crawford in Oliver Stone's Platoon (1986), an aide in Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Bunker in Kathryn Bigelow's Point Break (1991) and Tommy in David Lynch's Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992). He also had a guest role in the television series Baywatch.
From the early 1990s he distanced himself from the film industry, focusing instead on music, motorsports and technology, including work on autonomous vehicles.
