Biography
Christina Pickles is an English actress. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and began her career on stage, appearing in Broadway productions including The Misanthrope (1968) and Sherlock Holmes (1975).
She is known for playing Nurse Helen Rosenthal in the medical drama series St. Elsewhere (1982–1988), for which she received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations, and Judy Geller in Friends (1994–2003). Her film roles include Isabel Ludlow in Legends of the Fall (1994), Caroline Montague in Romeo + Juliet (1996), and Angie Sullivan in The Wedding Singer (1998). She won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2018 for the series Break a Hip.
