Biography

Christopher Denham is an American actor, writer and director. He was born in Blue Island, Illinois, and grew up on the south side of Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and began his career in regional theatre, including work with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival and the Station Theatre.

Denham made his Broadway debut in the 2003 revival of Master Harold...and the Boys. His film roles include Mike Vickers in Charlie Wilson's War (2007), Peter Breene in Shutter Island (2010) and Mark Lijek in Argo (2012). He later appeared as Klaus Fuchs in Oppenheimer (2023). Television credits include Oliver Dake in Billions and Walt Griebel in For All Mankind.

He has also written and directed films including Home Movie (2008) and Preservation (2014). For Argo, he shared ensemble cast awards from the Hollywood Film Awards, Palm Springs International Film Festival and Screen Actors Guild.
