Biography
Christopher Lennertz is an American composer of film, television and video game scores. Born in 1972 in Methuen, Massachusetts, he studied at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California with Elmer Bernstein.
He is best known for his work on the television series The Boys (2019–), for which he won a Creative Arts Emmy in 2025, and Supernatural (2005–2020). His film scores include Horrible Bosses (2011), Sausage Party (2016), Baywatch (2017) and Pitch Perfect 3 (2017). He has also composed for the Medal of Honor video game series.
Lennertz has frequently collaborated with showrunner Eric Kripke on projects including The Boys, Supernatural and Lost in Space (2018–2021).
